my worst nightmare becoming a reality...

it's been nearly three months and this blog is off to a horrible start. actually, i did dedicate it to my experiences in japan, so since i'm not there yet, i guess it's still to early to judge.

just a couple very important updates on this whole japan thing anyways. i believe i'll be going there around september 15th. i would go earlier, but i'm STILL finishing the thesis. i hate myself so much right now for being such a slacker. oh well, i deserve it.

if you read my previous post, i discussed how my whole relationship with yuka really put this idea in motion. sadly, the relationship has come to a grinding halt. we definitely had our unforgettable moments, but more importantly, we've had more than our fair share of forgettable moments. i know i'm just too much of a dreamer. the reality here is that i'm moving into a completely new environment without the crutch that i was counting on. right now, all i can hope is that this will only force me to work harder and grow on my own.

nevertheless, i'm still completely stoked about the move. it's awesome to know that a few of my good friends will be fairly nearby. aside from actually finishing up graduate school, i've been occupying (probably too much) of my time thinking about all the cool gadgets i should be getting.
